The Johnson County Attorney is responsible for prosecuting misdemeanor violations and penal laws of the state that occur within the county. The County Attorney also advices the Johnson County Fiscal Court. Most county juvenile matters are prosecuted by the office, and the County Attorney prepares county ordinances. Johnson County’s Attorney is also responsible for collecting delinquent property taxes in Johnson County.
County Attorney Michael S. Endicott received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky in 1985. He then graduated from Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1988. Endicott was then admitted to practice law in Kentucky the same year and Ohio in 1989.
Michael Endicott was then admitted to practice law in United States District Court for the eastern district of Kentucky, southern district of Ohio, and the United states Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
